DJ's: Dirk MoermanDirk Moerman
Dirk Moerman grew up in the town of Oudenaarde, in the Flemish Ardennes.
He is certainly no stranger to the Flemish radioscene, as for many years he could be heard as a DJ through various national Belgian radio networks.
For 12 years he presented the evening shows for Radio Contact and Belgian television viewers know him as presenter of 'GunkTV' with Frank Molnar.
At another well-known station: Topradio, he acquired fame with with his show 'Moerbie Late Nite' and, as Radio Mi Amigo fans remember all too well: he was also Peter van Dam's permanent replacement for his legendary show 'Manneke Pop'.
Together with his buddy Peter van Dam, Dirk went on an adventure to the Greek islands to start and guide a new local radiostation: Karpathos FM. This summer again he will spend 2 months on Karpathos.
Through modern means of communication, however, Dirk can already be heard here, on Radio Mi Amigo International, every Friday from the studio in Karpathos, as co-host of our new Flemish morning show.
We already got a taste of Dirk's qualities when last May he signed on as a sidekick for Eric Hofman aboard the MV Castor, MiAmigo45's temporary radio ship, for the program 'Hofman & Moerman', which will now be continued by Radio Mi Amigo International:
'Hofman & Moerman In The Morning' - Every Friday 9:00 AM - 11:00 AM, the official start of our presented weekend broadcasts.
