I have received your station and I would like to give you a report here.

I listened to your station for the first time at home in Japan. It is usual very difficult to catch your station in Japan, so I tried to receive you with the help of KIWI SDR set in Switzerland. Program was very interesting and comfortable. Small power stations are impossible in Japan because of strict restriction for broadcasting.

I will conclude my reception report. If you confirm the contents of my report is correct, I would request you send me your verification card or letter by postal way or by e-mail. I will be very satisfied that my report will be useful for your development and improvement.

Although it has been some time since I last wrote to you I continue to hear you regularly at the weekends. I hope the following reception report will be of interest:

I heard you today, 25th October 2020, from 08.00 to 08.30 utc on 6085 kHz. Reception was fair with a SINPO rating of 35443. Frequency, as usual, was clear of any interference with just some slight noise at times.

I heard you on my Eton satellit 750 receiver with a telescopic whip antenna at my home in Padiham, a small town in the county of Lancashire in the northwest of England.

Soon after tuning in the song Don’t You Want Me was played followed a little later by Time After Time. I Don’t Know What I Am Going To Do was then played followed by an ad for The Rosco Show and then Smokie with I’ll Meet You At Midnight.

You are audible here every morning but it is just a shame that your signal fades out after an hour or two.

I look forward to continuing to hear you hopefully throughout 2021.

Hallo beste mensen achter Mi Amigo,

Hier in Utrecht zijn jullie op 6085 uitstekend te horen, dit gebeurd met een Kenwood TS-440S - oud beestje maar doet het prima, er hangt een lijn van 12 meter via het dak naar beneden, ontvangst gaat van S5 tot S9 dus zeer goed, lichte fading maar uitstekend te horen.

I love this station. Unfortunately, TuneIn no longer supports stations from outside the UK, but I have found Radio Garden which covers the whole planet. I cannot believe that in 2020 I can tune in to live programmes from Radio Mi Amigo and Radio Caroline. Thank you for providing this station and long may you carry on!

We're 40 years on since the time I listened to Mi Amigo during my childhood. Now Mi Amigo is back again and it is just like nothing has changed. Except me!
