We luisteren getrouw naar Mi Amigo en het viel me meteen op dat de muziek anders was dan gewoonlijk en er vanavond 4 mei, in plaats van een dj, slechts zeemeeuwen te horen waren tussen de nummers door.
Toen hoorden we je aankondiging over de speciale uitzending ivm de dodenherdenking en dat je de zender 2 minuten op "stil" zet.

Het getuigt van grote klasse en respect om, als wereldwijd beluisterd radiostation, 2 minuten stilte en aandacht te vragen van je publiek.

We wensen dat Mi Amigo nog lang mag bestaan in deze vorm. Met respect voor vrijheid (ooit bevochten door zeezenders omwille van vrijheid in de ether) en onafhankelijk, liever wars van, conventies en formats.

We luisteren verder!
