Mi Amigo and Playa... still connected
Ràdio Platja d'Aro - 102.7 FM Stereo
Playa d'Aro and Radio Mi Amigo are still closely linked, ever since 1974 when the station and its crew settled in the then small coastal village.
The attractive tourist town on the Costa Brava in the early 70s was firmly put on the map by Radio Mi Amigo. Since then the town grew bigger, but even today tourists from Belgium and the Netherlands still visit the places where the Mi Amigo adventure took place, such as the Mas Nou mountain and the store in Playa's main street where the studio was.
Yet Radio Mi Amigo never really left and today local residents and tourists can once again listen to the programs of their beloved Radio Mi Amigo, as some of Radio Mi Amigo International's programs are relayed and can now be heard via the local FM station of Ràdio platja d'Aro.
We can be reached there by mail because Mi Amigo's local post box is in full use again and we are also planning future activities there, such as dance evenings with the real Mi Amigo Drive In Show. Keep an eye on our website for more news...
